Here's the cabin we are staying at this week in Idyllwild.
Through the front door, into the kitchen.
It's a nice, big kitchen with everything we need.
A large living room with electric piano, TV, couches, chairs, chess table, dart board, and pool table.
So comfy!

Two open bedrooms and a closed bedroom upstairs.
3 beds on this side for Hailey and Aubrey.
A couch and 2 beds on the other side for Evan and James.
And a private room in the middle for Nana.
Playing some darts downstairs.
While the boys played some pool.
We have a hot tub outside on the deck.
And we're right in the forest with a stream nearby.

The kids all wanted to dip their feet in the stream.
It gets hot outside, and there are mosquitoes, but it's nice to go out for a bit and then return.
Then we headed out to explore the town.
This is where we picked up our keys yesterday when we got in.
All over Idyllwild they have these painted deer statues.

A nice, relaxing start to our Summer.

We took a little break from the heat over at the public library. Aubrey played grocery store.

Ice cream on a hot day sounds perfect.

Back at the cabin to rest and play some games. Evan and Hailey played chess.
I played Machi Koro with the boys.
We brought along some of our piano music.
After dinner we hung out on the patio, roasting smores.
By this time the temperature outside was perfect.
