Easter Sunday

Easter is the last day of March this year.

And the Ames cousins were in town.

They dyed some eggs.

And had some painting projects. Here's Aubrey's rainbow unicorn.

Yesterday we celebrated at Nana's.

We also celebrated the grandkids with early birthdays.

James' birthday is just 2 days away.

We played some Minute to Win it games. This one was re-matching the colored halves of mismatched plastic eggs.

Aubrey loved Nana's singing Easter bunny.

Hailey tries to hide her face from my camera.

But I can get her if I'm sneaky enough.

Doing some archery with his new bow.

They had to go outside to fire those arrows around.

Building some Minecraft Legos.

Out in Vegas

We drove out to Las Vegas this weekend to Great Grandma Corbett's funeral. Jeni represented the California grandchildren and spoke at the service. She did a great job, though the rest of the Corbett family live around that area and knew Great Grandma much better than Jeni and her siblings.

While we were there, we visited Spring Mountain Ranch, home of the actress Vera Krupp.

At the house, we learned about the 33 carat Krupp Diamond that Vera owned.

Stopping off at Eddie World in Yermo, CA on our way back home.

St Patrick's Day

The kids had a St Patrick's Day treat waiting for them this morning before Church.

A collection of our green Lego characters had Lucky Charms and chocolate coins for them.

A leprechaun (well, an elf) with a pot of gold.

Evan's Cotillion

This year has been Evan's first year of Cotillion.

It's good for him to go, even if he hasn't wanted to do it.

But the Cotillion year is over and we got to attend his final night of class.
