Happy 14th Birthday

Tomorrow is Hailey's birthday but she will be at a youth service project.

So, we celebrated her birthday today, starting with donuts before school.

And presents after school.

Acrylic paint markers for her art.

Aubrey wants to help.

Sculpting tools.

Hailey requested food so she got chocolate bars, salt-and-vinegar chips, nacho cheese, and potatoes.

Ice Skating

Hailey wanted to go ice skating for her birthday activity.

Evan wanted to go too, so I took the 2 of them to the King's practice rink in El Segundo: the Toyota Sports Performance Center.

They did pretty well.

Evan fell a few times, and his butt and hands were freezing by the end.

But they had a great time.

Birthday Trip to Underwood Family Farm

 

Aubrey has had her unicorn with her constantly this week.

Today we headed out to the farm for Aubrey's birthday outing to see some animals.

Hey there goats!

Going to pet the goats.

Sometimes the goats wanted to eat our clothes.

Chewing on clothes again.

This one was ready for a nap.

James was popular with the goats.

Aubrey loved the baby goats.

The horses are huge.

Last year the train was off limits as they were building a new one.

Aubrey and James loved playing around on the newly-built wooden train.

The slides were another highlight.

Petting the sheep.

Petting the big, soft rabbit.

And a guinea pig.

Having a great time riding the train.

Hailey and Evan spent the majority of their time riding the bikes.

They even teamed up on one bike.

And took turns peddling.

We took the tractor out to the fields.
