Christmas Card Photos

 

Time to get a nice photo for our Christmas cards.

We have to take a lot of photos to get 1 that we like.

James likes to goof around.

Then the others start goofing off as well.

Sometimes they just crack themselves up.

Lego Main Street

The kids and I are off for Thanksgiving so together we built the new Lego Winter Village set: Holiday Main Street. It was split into 4 builds so we each took 1 and had a building party.

Hailey had the toy store.

Evan took the trolly.

I built the music store.

James, who is still learning, did a great job building the sign, mailbox, and tree.

Even Aubrey wanted to come over and help.

And here it is, all put together.

We really love the Winter Village sets.

They are so charming.

With this built, we will get the rest of our Winter Village put together for Christmas.

Apple Pie

 

My contribution for Thanksgiving was to bake a couple of apple pies from our apple tree.

1 apple strudel and 1 apple pie covered in caramel. Delicious!

Work Anniversary

 

Activision sent me this 5-year plaque for my 7th work anniversary. I was a contract animator for 2 years at Infinity Ward, starting the week of Thanksgiving, then full-time for 5 after that, and hopefully for many years to come.
