We just finished the kids' 3rd week of Distance Learning & we're now on 2 weeks of Spring Break but all California schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year.
We had General Conference this weekend, all broadcast with no in-person attendance.
There are now 1,275,000 confirmed cases worldwide.
The US, UK, & France are experiencing the highest rate of new cases since last week (up around 230%) though that doesn't account for untested cases so numbers are much higher.
Reports from China make it plain that their reported numbers are much lower than their actual number of cases (both in confirmed cases and in deaths).
I read about some more cruise ships (& a naval vessel) out at sea with the virus spreading among passengers. Who is still going on cruises right now!?! There have been somewhere over 25 cruise ships with outbreaks of the virus & it sounds like a nightmare to be on board, under quarantine, & stranded for weeks.
A hospital ship, USNS Mercy arrived here at the Port of Los Angeles to help relieve hospitals. A train engineer thought it was "suspicious" and decided to derail the train in an attempt to ram the ship... crazy.
