We finally got the answer to our question: is this baby a boy or a girl?
It's a boy!

Contractions started yesterday afternoon and, by the time we got to the hospital last night, I requested an epidural right away. 2 hours later I finally got one and got some much needed rest. My mom and Steve's mom met us at the hospital and we all waited.
Soon after 9am it was time to push. I pushed 3 times and he popped right out! What a good boy!
Steven loved the name James and didn't like any of my suggestions whenever we talked boy names. It's a family name, like Steve's Great Great Great Grandfather, James McClellan who was one of the Pioneers. And Taylor is a family name from my side. It's a total coincidence that there's a singer by the same name.
We were tired but not burned out and spent a nice day together.
Aw, we love our new little guy.
The first 24 hours he just wanted to sleep.
Two weeks from now he won't look like a newborn anymore; we've got to enjoy it while it lasts.
