We headed out early this morning to beat the traffic and catch a free movie screening in Hollywood.
Steve was pretty excited and loved the movie. I love that we got free food from the concession stands and goody bags to take home.
Hailey was interested in her 3-D glasses at first but then watched the rest of the movie without them. She got too tired to stay awake until the end.
Just waiting to be set free.
She wanted to run around and twirl in the water.
She was just caught up in her own little world.
By the time we left she was sopping wet.
Next we stopped off a famous bakery on the way home.
We checked out the cake showroom and all Hailey could say was "wow" over and over.
There were tons of pretty cakes to look at.
All these cakes made Hailey hungry...hungry for frosting.
So we got her a mini cupcake all her own.
We also got some cupcakes for after dinner tonight.
Then we met Steve's parents for dinner in honor of Lynda's birthday. Here is what we had for dinner:
Roasted pear and arugula brushetta.
Stuffed Mushrooms.
Lobster Carbonara.
Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti.
Ziti in a creamy tomato sauce.
Butternut Squash Ravioli.
Then we made a visit to the American Girl Doll store, which Hailey loved, before we headed home.
