Here's a little taste of what Hailey loves to do at home: walk around the house and jump out at people. Her birthday is just one month away and we're getting super excited!

Sprinklers for the cranky Baby Hailey
Hmmmm.... when I say everything ends up in her mouth that includes sprinkler water too.
Hailey got her bottom 2 teeth right around Thanksgiving and was so unhappy. Now she just started to get her top 2 teeth in and what a nightmare that is. We have teething tablets, Tylenol, ora-gel, all manner of popsicles, but somehow it is not enough to make the tears stop flowing. She has a very low pain tolerance... I think she got that from me.
We have had a warm winter and it seemed to confuse my plants. In November Steven and I dug up 350 sprouting spring flowers bulbs out of our front yard. It is so warm now that we even sleep with the fan on and the windows open at night. During the next few weeks we want to plant our vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. I love watching plants grow from seeds. It is more exciting than buying a 6 month old starter plant from Home Depot.
Hailey has her own agenda. A while ago we began letting her have a little bit of our drinks out of our glasses at dinner and she seemed to like it. My mom went out and bought her some cute little sippy cups. She has refused to drink from them. She only wants to drink out of a normal glass. And once she has a glass in her hands she holds it so tight and won't relinquish it to whomever is helping her.
Playing in water from the garden sprinkler.
Hailey likes to play in the dirt.
Sometimes she likes to eat dirt.
But, I don't like scraping dirt out of her mouth.

Walking at 10 Months
Hailey decided crawling was overrated.....time to move on to bigger things.
My mom predicted a couple of months ago she would start walking at 10 months....she was right!
