Today is the day we planted Hailey's tree -- a Bloodgood Japanese Maple. Steven had a purple plum tree in his front yard the whole time he was growing up (when he moved away from home it died and got ripped out). Our Hailey gets her own tree to grow up with, and it's one that turns bright red in the Fall. It should start to grow new leaves in a few weeks.We hope you love your birthday present!
